Welcome Young and Old!
Messy Church (from 2017)
3 rd Sunday in Even Month 5 – 7 pm
The concept of “More than Music” was the brain-storm of the Family Ministry Team, initiated to provide an Informal Family Service, for our 100 + young families who have enjoyed learning about God at “mainly music” prior to starting school in addition to providing an avenue for our regular Families to share a meal.
Our first Sunday night, was held in June 2017, with the theme “Hidden Treasure”. The twenty five children in attendance shared the delights of making Oyster Pearl biscuits, a Treasure Map, Lego Treasures and a Money box, followed by some well known songs and the story of our “Hidden Treasure” – God’s LOVE! (Matthew 13:44 – 46)
You can find an invitation to the next Fun Faith and Families evening on the Welcome page, Young and Old are welcome to attend, share a meal and share the adventures of Jesus.
All age Worship Experience (2012 – 2016)
The All age Worship Experience (AWE) began as a concept in 2012 from meetings held by the Family Ministry Team. A Survey to identify the needs of the Parish was circulated to Parishioners of the Sunday 10am Service during October 2012 and the AWE services commenced on a regular basis in 2013 – every 4th Sunday of the month. These are less regular, now we run an evening service.
