Aged Care Homes

The Parish is actively involved in the various Aged Care Facilities in Yarrawonga.

Services are conducted weekly in three of the four facilities: Warrina (Piper St.) and Karana (Hume St.) are located on the campus of Yarrawonga Health and the Ministry Team assist the Rector at the largest Centre, BentleyWood (Woods Point Aged Care).

Residents are invited to attend ‘Friendlies‘ held monthly at the St. Cuthbert’s Church Hall.

Home Visiting:

The Rector is available for home visiting and often will bring Eucharist to those unable to attend Church.

Our Rector holds an Anglican (Ecumenical) Service at Warrina Aged Care Hostel (on Piper Street) every Monday morning and at Woods Point Age Care in the afternoon.

Six to eight residents enjoy the Services and are grateful for the Communion Service provided for all denominations.

“It is a valuable service for people who are unable to get to the church on Sundays.”
(Mrs Betty Cooper, April 2014).
